SEVEN SONGS
Mhelyn tagged me, along with her other friends, here in blogger. I have to name seven songs I am currently listening. This is a lil hard since it is my first time to join this kind of game plus the fact that I am just new here so I am wondering if I can tag friends from other sites… Hmmm… anyways, this sounds fun!!! I think the songs I’m listening right now are a bit mushy and sentimental…some made me cry (sniff sniff)…yeah I can relate to them…oh ok…here’s my answer…
1. Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka (Regine Velasquez) – I think singing this often is the result of watching Extra Challenge with the episode “Dreamdate” (Reality Show in the Philippines)…Well, I feel a tingling feeling everytime I hear this song… Makes me feel so excited. why? Because I’m going to see my honey in person soon…we’ll have our first date… Yepeeee!!! (clapping)
2. Pangarap Na Bituin (Regine Velasquez) – As I was traveling to Manila last Monday morning (March 20, 2005 around 2:15am) this song was being played in the radio…oh, I can’t stop the tears flowing on my cheeks…It’s the soundtrack of the Korean Telenovela “Jewel in the Palace”…I believe all the trials I had in my past will lead me to success… The song gives me encouragement and hope to go on and to catch my own stars!
3. High (The Speaks featuring Barbie) – ” time wont flow everyone knows when the pain fades away…dreams wont die with tears in your eyes… you’ve got to hold your head up high…” Oh, I wish I could sing this with the right tune or else summer will be rainy days for all of us (lols)…
4. Grow Old With You ( Jimmy Bondoc ) – My all time favorite song!!! Oh my, I wish someone somewhere will say those sweet words to me… Opppsss….not only say but in real life would make me smile, carry me… put me to bed…take good care of me when I’m sick… give me his coat when I’m cold…miss me…kiss me… need me and the most important of all grow old with me…Wow!!!
5. Same Ground (Kitchie Nadal) – I often hear this song and I like it! Nice lyrics…rhythm…great singer… Ending a relationship in the middle of a misunderstanding isn’t the right solution…because at the end of the road it’s you who’ll feel deep loss at all…so, never say goodbye when you aren’t ready to move on…open communication is important….Sometimes, I have doubts and fears but I learned to voice them out to Jim…It makes him understand me better…it makes him open up, too…and it makes us closer to each other…
6. Later (Side A) – aside from the fact that this is one of Arjay’s fave songs and he’s the one who introduced this to me…this was significant when my first bf called me last february 2006 asking me to renew our love…but how can he come with me when I know in some point of his life he has to go…he will not be here to stay for forever…and some people might get hurt…it’s too late…i love someone else…it’s really late to start again…
7. You Raise Me Up (Westlife) – At first, You Raise Me Up sounds a very sad song to me…it’s like a lullaby that sends me to sleep…but as I play the song often I feel comforted…it gives a soothing feeling and an assurance that I am not alone. God is a loving God. He will help me surpass all the obstacles that come my way. And it’s really great!!!
